Yesterday, I have noticed a huge "traffic drop" for this blog (qualitypoint.blogspot.com) in the AdSense Report.
I had checked the Google Analytics Report also to confirm the drastic reduction in the web traffic. And, I came to know that lot of keywords which were ranking well in Google search results got affected heavily.
Even I got an alert message in my Google Webmasters tools with the subject "
http://www.qualitypoint.blogspot.com/: Big traffic change for top URL"
I couldn't understand the reason for this sudden traffic reduction.
According to the Google Analytics Report, the traffic reduction got started on September 29th.
By doing some Google search, I came to know that Google had released EMD (Exact Match Domain) updates on September 28. Many people reported that traffic got reduced for their sites also.
So, I am thinking that the EMD update may be the reason for this traffic reduction. But I couldn't understand the reason why EMD update should hit this blog as this blog domain name is NOT an exact match Domain.

This is really a surprising news. Today i received a notification from Google adsense saying about its closing down/retirement of Adsense for feeds. Is there any connection with this to the new developments in this traffic reduction?
PS. Pl. remove the word verification from this blog. it irritate your readers and commentors. Best

Starting December 3, 2012, we’ll discontinue serving ads via AdSense for feeds on RSS feeds and you’ll no longer see feed units in your My ads tab.
