NASA estimates 600 million metric tons of water in Moon

NASA has estimated around 1.3 trillion pounds (600 million metric tons) of water ice near the north pole of Moon by analyzing data from a NASA radar that flew aboard India's Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft.

Last year November month, NASA confirmed existence of Water on by the Moon by analyzing the impact data gathered by 'bombing' moon using LCROSS
