Many people made suggestions to update this blog with a new theme. But I hesitated to do that as I have been using this free Blogger blog from the year 2008.
And, it includes custom javascript code in many pages for various purposes like showing a Quiz. So I don't want to spend a lot of time checking all those things.
I feel comfortable using this Blogger blog, so I don't want to move to WordPress. Anyway, I have various WordPress blogs for other purposes like motivational posts and emerging tech news.
As I am putting a lot of content into this blog, I thought of improving it further, though I am not willing to change it entirely.
So, today I spent significant time improving this blog.
- I added the blog search feature for mobiles. Previously search was working only on computers
- Added "Related posts" feature to show 5 related posts at the end of each blog post. I already included this feature some time back, but that was not working for a long time.
- Updated the code to show only blog post links instead of the entire posts on home page and other category list pages.
- And, removed unused code at many places
These changes might have made any other unintentional changes. So, let me know if you find any error.
