Solved the Custom 404 Error page issue

We wanted to show custom 404 Error pages for our websites when the users types web page name incorrectly.

So, we set the custom message for the 404 error pages from the cPanel of the hosting account.

But this custom message didn't appear when I tried to type incorrect web page name.

So, I had a chat with support of our hosting HostGator, and they immediately given solution for this issue.
They asked me to add "ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml" in the .htaccess file.

And, now it is working fine.
